Why practitioners choose aluminum

Build
Every aluminum board is built on ECO birch plywood finished with three layers of glossy varnish. The nails are set in the Hexagon — Flower of Life — pattern, which spaces them equally in every direction so pressure distributes evenly instead of concentrating in lines. Each board is made as two interlocking halves, one per foot, that fit together for storage and travel.

Care
Wipe the nails with a cloth and a little alcohol after use, then let them dry. Do not soak the board or store it somewhere damp — the plywood base is varnished, not waterproof. Aluminum will not rust, but the wood underneath still needs dry storage.
Questions about aluminum nails
Does aluminum feel sharper than copper? No. At the same spacing the sensation is essentially the same. People who report a difference are usually noticing temperature — copper warms up faster, which some find more comfortable in a cold room.
Is aluminum a cheaper compromise? It is less expensive because the raw material costs less, not because the board is built to a lower standard. Same plywood, same varnish, same nail pattern, same handmade assembly.
