  • Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address.
  • Order information: products ordered, order value, currency, order history, gift messages.

  • Marketing preferences: whether you have subscribed to our newsletter.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have assessed that our interest in running a secure and functioning store does not override your rights and freedoms.

3. Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing. Our payment providers apply automated fraud screening to transactions; if a transaction is declined on that basis, you may contact us to have it reviewed by a person.

4. Who we share your information with

We share personal information only with the categories of recipients below, only to the extent needed, and under contracts that require them to protect it.

  • Shopify Inc. — our e-commerce platform, which hosts this store and processes orders on our behalf.
  • Payment providers — Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe), PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. They act as independent controllers for payment processing and fraud prevention and are subject to their own privacy policies and to PCI-DSS.
  • Fulfilment and delivery partners — Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment and the carriers that deliver your parcel. They receive your name, delivery address, phone number and order contents.
  • Analytics and advertising providers — Google (Analytics, Ads, Merchant Center), Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and Pinterest, where you have consented to the corresponding cookies.
  • Review platforms — the app that collects and displays product reviews on our store.
  • Professional advisers, auditors and authorities — where required by law, to establish or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers.
  • A buyer or successor — if our business is sold or reorganised, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not disclose it to data brokers.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — to keep your cart, your session and our checkout working and secure. These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies — to understand how the store is used so we can improve it.
  • Advertising cookies — to show relevant ads and measure whether they worked.

Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you consent through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in our footer, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop checkout from working.

Our store honours the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where your browser sends one.

6. International transfers

We are based in the United States (Wyoming), and our service providers operate in the United States, the European Union and other countries. When personal information from the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland is transferred outside those regions, we rely on the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum where applicable), or on an adequacy decision such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards by writing to us.

7. How long we keep your information

  • Order and transaction records: 7 years from the date of the order, to meet tax and accounting obligations.
  • Customer account data: for as long as your account exists, and up to 24 months after your last activity if you ask us to close it, so we can handle warranty and return questions.
  • Support correspondence: 3 years from the last message.
  • Marketing consents and opt-outs: for as long as we operate the store, so we can prove your choice and honour it.
  • Analytics and advertising data: normally up to 14 months, or the retention period set in the provider tools.

When a period ends we delete the data or irreversibly anonymise it.

8. Your rights

If you are in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to: access your personal data; have it corrected; have it erased; restrict or object to its processing; receive it in a portable format; withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out; and lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

If you are a resident of California, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; obtain a copy of it; correct it; delete it; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising; limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information for money. Where advertising cookies are used with your consent, that may be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CCPA/CPRA — you can opt out at any time through our cookie settings or by sending a GPC signal.

If you are a resident of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have equivalent rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and opt-out, including the right to appeal a decision we make on your request.

How to exercise your rights. Write to service@tengry.store from the email address you used for your order. We will respond within 30 days (extendable by a further 60 days for complex requests, and we will tell you if we need the extension). We may ask for information to verify your identity. You may use an authorised agent, in which case we will ask for proof of authorisation. Exercising these rights is free of charge.

9. Security

We use TLS encryption across the whole store, PCI-DSS compliant payment processing, access controls limiting who in our team can see order data, and providers who maintain recognised security certifications. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take these measures to protect your information and will notify you and the competent authority of a personal data breach where the law requires it.

10. Children

Our store is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at service@tengry.store and we will delete it.

Sadhu boards are an adult product and must not be used by children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you by email or by a notice on the store before it takes effect.
